About Pastor Gibson

Pastor Bobby Gibson faithfully served for more than 19 years as Lead Associate Pastor at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship under the leadership of the church's founder, Dr. Tony Evans. Earlier in his ministry, he served as Director of Counseling at The Potter's House of Dallas under Bishop T.D. Jakes. After decades in ministry leadership, Pastor Gibson has stepped into a new chapter — founding Bobby Gibson Ministries to share hope, healing, and truth.

He holds a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Oral Roberts University (1995) and is a graduate of Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado, where he completed 3 years of training in Leadership and Global Ministry. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and a certified speaker, trainer, and coach with John Maxwell, bringing a wealth of experience in pastoral care, leadership, and mentoring.

Born and raised in Carthage, Texas, Pastor Gibson has a heart for encouraging churches, equipping leaders, and inspiring others to walk in faith and purpose. He and his wife, Gloria, have been married for 50 years and are proud parents to four, with nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Driven by compassion and guided by faith, Pastor Gibson is committed to creating lasting impact — one message, one leader, and one community at a time. The desire of his heart is to see people saved, filled, healed, delivered, and set free.

Minister Glenn Burrell has faithfully shared the Word of God since 1985, with a focus on evangelism and teaching. A graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center, he has dedicated years to prison ministry and now extends his reach through the Seed of Faith Clinic Podcast, equipping believers with

life-changing faith and truth.

Doug Douglas

Doug Douglas combines decades of professional leadership with a deep commitment to faith and service. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for LeTourneau University and has held leadership roles with organizations such as the Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind and Easter Seals Project ACTION. A longtime member and deacon at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, Doug provides wisdom and practical guidance to help the ministry grow, while encouraging others to walk in their calling with purpose.

Waymon Stewart

Waymon Stewart brings decades of leadership in mental health services and community engagement to the Board of Directors at Bobby Gibson Ministries. A U.S. Army veteran and former CEO of the Andrews Center in East Texas, he has dedicated his life to serving others through faith and care. His experience and heart for people add wisdom and strength to the ministry’s mission.

Randy Scott

Randy Scott was born and raised in Rochester, New York, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1977. Over his career, he worked as an engineer for companies including United Technologies, General Electric, Monsanto, and Stemco. Now self-employed and semi-retired, Randy manages his real estate investments in Tyler, Texas, and enjoys chess and fishing in his free time. He and his wife, Jacqueline, have been married for over 50 years and are blessed with 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Randy is a devoted servant of God, grounded in the salvation and wisdom found through Jesus Christ.

MINISTRY ADMINISTRATOR

Deborah Haynes- Scott

As Administrative Assistant, Deborah Scott brings 25 years of faithful service and exceptional organizational skill to Bobby Gibson Ministries. She is the quiet force behind ministry operations.

One of her favorite scriptures is Galatian 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body,[a] I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me”.

Nat Tate

Nat Tate brings extensive experience in ministry leadership, media, and global outreach. He has overseen large-scale church development projects, spearheaded humanitarian initiatives in Africa, and

contributed to Christian broadcasting worldwide.

His insight and vision strengthen the ministry’s ability to reach people through faith and technology.

Monica Comeaux is a devoted follower of Christ with more than 20 years of leadership experience in human resources and organizational development. She has guided cross-functional teams, pioneered initiatives that foster growth, and founded a consulting firm dedicated to empowering leaders, ministries, and organizations. Actively serving in her church community, Monica co-leads the Leadership Development Team and supports ministry events. Her faith and professional expertise together reflect her calling to build up others and make a lasting impact.
